Project Overview
Expert Diesel Parts is an e-commerce store focused on diesel parts. The goal of the project was to increase qualified organic traffic from Google, improve rankings for high-intent search terms, and create a clearer path from search to purchase. Before the project began, the site had solid inventory but very little content that helped it rank or convert. Many collection pages were thin, product pages relied heavily on manufacturer descriptions, and much of the site’s traffic was coming from paid campaigns or repeat and direct visitors.
The project focused on building a clearer e-commerce SEO strategy supported by a content-focused audit and implementation roadmap. The goal was to strengthen topical authority around key product lines, improve category and product pages, and make the site more useful for diesel buyers while supporting stronger search performance. By following that roadmap, the site saw a 541% increase in qualified traffic, an 18-position improvement in average rank position, and a 16% improvement in bounce rate.
Project Results
Strong e-commerce SEO should lead to measurable improvements in rankings, traffic, and the ability to bring more qualified buyers to the site. Expert Diesel Parts saw meaningful gains across all three.

What Was Done
The project began with an e-commerce SEO audit focused on identifying thin content, duplicate-content risks, missed ranking opportunities, internal linking gaps, and areas where category and product pages were not doing enough to support either search visibility or conversion. From there, a step-by-step strategy and roadmap were built to prioritize the categories with the strongest revenue potential, strengthen content around key product lines, improve category and product page templates, and outline supporting guide and FAQ content designed to drive more qualified traffic into high-value pages.
Final Thoughts
Expert Diesel Parts is a strong example of how e-commerce SEO can improve when strategy, search intent, and site structure are working together. By focusing on stronger category and product page support, clearer content priorities, and a roadmap tied to real buying intent, the site was better positioned to improve visibility, attract more qualified traffic, and support stronger long-term growth.
